Sibyl Buck is a Yoga Instructor at The UCLA Family Commons, and she also teaches restorative and hatha yoga to adults as well as private lessons for adults and children. Sibyl first found yoga when she was living in New York City in 1998, and it gave her grounding and balance during a career as a model and later a touring musician. Sibyl completed the YogaWorks teacher-training program when she moved to California from Brooklyn in 2008, and since then she has applied herself fully to the practice and teaching of yoga. Her teachers include Annie Carpenter, Lisa Walford, Vinnie Marino, Jasmine Lieb, and Shana Myerson, with whom she completed the miniyogis® teacher training program. Sibyl has always had a deep connection with children, who respond well to her easy-going, down to earth style.
