Emily Davis
Emily Davis
Emily Davis is the front desk manager at the UCLA Family Commons. Emily previously worked at the UCLA Center for Community Health as a research assistant working on developing the coaching curriculum for the Commons and is thrilled to now be able to see that hard work put into practice! Emily has always enjoyed working with children, and saved money during school by working as a tutor in DC Public schools.
After graduating from Georgetown University in 2010, Emily traveled for four months on her own through 10 different countries! She met new friends everywhere she went, and especially enjoyed Cappadocia in Turkey. She maintains the spirit of adventure by always seeking out new things to do in her hometown of Los Angeles. Emily can be impulsive at times, but sees this as ‘seizing the moment.’ Emily will often delve into arguments about politics, philosophy, or the use of the word ‘recommend,’ but understands that not everyone enjoys this quality in her. She is working on being less stubborn.
